Who needs a barista? A homemade Peppermint Mocha is the perfect cozy drink once December hits!
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups almond, coconut or oat milk
- 1 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon peppermint syrup
- 1 dropperful of ALTWELL 25mg Mint Tincture
- ½ cup freshly brewed espresso (or very strong coffee)
- Stevia packet or other sweetener of your choice
- Whipped cream
- Crushed peppermint candies (optional for garnish)
- Heat cocoa powder and ¼ cup milk in a small saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave for 30 seconds, until cocoa powder dissolves when stirred.
- Remove from heat and stir in espresso, peppermint syrup, and ALTWELL tincture.
- Add sweetener if desired.
- Pour into a large mug.
- Steam remaining milk (using a frother, on the stove or in the microwave) and add to the mixture.
- Garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or peppermint candies.

Gingerbread Cookie Protein Smoothie
The perfect mixture of spicy and sweet, this smoothie brings the delicious flavor of gingerbread to your protein smoothie routine! Perfect post-workout or as an afternoon snack.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 2 scoops Vanilla ALTWELL Plant-Based Protein Powder
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup of rolled oats (do not use steel cut oats!)
- 2 teaspoons of maple syrup or molasses
- ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon of dried ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon of ground cloves
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Top with vegan whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.

- 2 tablespoons coconut or other nut butter (or ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut)
- ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Top with shredded coconut and/or berries.
